Summer Camp Counselor
Position Overview
Summer Camp Counselors work directly with children to support daily camp activities, assist with supervision, and help foster a positive and inclusive camp community.
Key Characteristics & Qualifications
- Enjoys working with children
- Patient, flexible, and able to adapt to a dynamic camp environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Clear communicator with both children and adults
- Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in daily camp activities, both indoors and outdoors
- Support lead staff with group management and transitions
- Encourage cooperation, creativity, and respectful behavior
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all campers
- Follow school and camp policies and procedures
Compensation
- Starting rate: $16.00 per hour
- Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications
Extended Care Counselor
Part-Time Position | Daily Hours: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview
Extended Care Counselors work with children of various ages during the after-school hours, assisting with activities, supervising play, and supporting smooth transitions at the end of the day. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are dependable, and are looking for meaningful part-time work in a supportive school community.

Strong supervision and safety awareness

Responsibilities
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor extended care activities
Support a calm, safe, and engaging end-of-day environment
Encourage positive social interactions and respectful behavior
Assist with cleanup and organization of materials and spaces
Follow school policies and procedures to ensure student safety
Floater Support Staff
Full time preferred but part time is available
Position Overview
Floater Support Staff work across classrooms and programs, stepping in to support teachers, extended care, or school operations as needed. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, are adaptable, and feel comfortable working with different age groups throughout the day.

Enjoys working with children of varying ages
Patient, observant, and calm in a busy school setting
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsible with a high level of professionalism and discretion
Willingness to follow classroom routines and school procedures
Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
Provide classroom support as directed, including supervision and assistance with activities
Step in for short-term coverage during transitions, breaks, or absences
Support children during indoor and outdoor activities
Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment
Follow all school policies and safety guidelines
