The Hockessin Montessori School

Students at The Hockessin Montessori School participate in Enrichment Programs that are developmentally appropriate for their age and ability.  The following classes are offered to students at HMS.

Middle School Program:
* Lifetime Sports such as tennis, golf, fencing, swimming, bowling, horseback riding, etc. are offered in five week sessions.  As often as possible, these classes are offered off campus.
* Electives (focusing on the fine arts) such as sewing, dancing, drama, cooking, photography, painting, etc. are also offered in five week sessions and are chosen with student input.
* Spanish - Middle School students receive Spanish class four times a week.
* Health - The Health curriculum is considered part of the physical education program and comprises issues pertinent to adolescent development.
